Purple Spotted Gudgeon (Mogurnda mogurnda)
A robust Australian native gudgeon with a mottled brown body and distinctive purple spots, the Purple Spotted Gudgeon is a hardy, characterful bottom-dweller. Mostly active at night, it has plenty of personality but grows large enough to eat small tank mates, so choose companions carefully.
