Diamond Tetra (Moenkhausia pittieri)

Named for the sparkling, diamond-like scales that catch the light as it swims, the Diamond Tetra is a peaceful and elegant schooling fish. As they mature, their silvery bodies develop a beautiful opalescent sheen that's best appreciated in a group.
