White Cloud Mountain Minnow (Tanichthys albonubes)
Native to the cool mountain streams of Guangdong, China, the White Cloud Mountain Minnow was discovered near Baiyun (White Cloud) Mountain in the 1930s. These small, elegant fish feature a shimmering silver-gold body, a neon-blue horizontal stripe, and bright red fins and tail. Peaceful, hardy, and visually striking, they’re a favourite for both beginners and experienced aquarists, thriving in cooler, unheated aquariums.
