Torpedo Barb / Denison Barb (Sahyadria denisonii)

A head-turning Indian barb famous for the vivid red horizontal stripe running along its silver body and the bold black, yellow, and red markings on its forked tail. Fast, active, and constantly on the move, a school of Torpedo Barbs brings energy and colour to any large planted or riverine-style aquarium.

Tank Mates: Peaceful community fish of similar size (e.g. Rainbowfish, larger Tetras, Barbs, Danios, Corydoras). Avoid slow-moving or long-finned species that may be stressed by their speed. Best kept in groups of 6+ for natural schooling behaviour.
