One of the most popular and attractive corydoras, the Sterbai features a dark body covered in bold white spots, with vivid orange fin edges. Hardy, peaceful, and more tolerant of warmer water than most corydoras, it's a fantastic choice for community tanks — including those housing discus or rams.

  • Temperature: 24–30°C (tolerates warmer water)
  • pH Range: 6.0–7.5

  • Diet: Sinking wafers, pellets, frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp
  • Max Size: 6–7cm
  • Lifespan: 5–8 years
  • Care Level: Easy

Tank Mates: Peaceful community fish such as tetras, rasboras, and other corydoras; ideal for warmer tanks with rams or discus; keep in groups of 6+.

Origin: South America — rivers and streams (Brazil, Bolivia)
