Clown Loach (Chromobotia macracanthus)

Origin & Appearance
Native to rivers in Sumatra and Borneo, Indonesia. Bright orange with three black bands, streamlined body, grows up to 30 cm in captivity, and may produce clicking sounds.

• Temperament: Peaceful, social

• Schooling: Groups of 5–6+

• Tank: 280+ litres

• Habitat: Dim light, hiding spots, smooth décor

• Diet: Sinking pellets, frozen foods, vegetables

• Behavior: Nocturnal, active in groups
