Bolivian Ram (Mikrogeophagus altispinosus)
A hardier cousin of the German Ram, the Bolivian Ram features a golden body with subtle blue, red, and black markings and elongated fin rays. Peaceful, easy to keep, and more tolerant of water conditions than its German relative, it's a fantastic dwarf cichlid for beginners.
